A'ara

Location of the 9371 Midwinter Games. Small town north east of Maerd near the Minge River. Local temple dedicated to Bast but not used as a training area. Only fully trained priests are sent here to minister to the local populace.
In preparation for the '71 Games, a large outdoor arena was constructed for the Grand Melee as well as several of the other games. The temple's magic room was enhanced to allow them to disable the safety features as well as broadcast the action to remote screens.
